90% Malbo Gentile, 10% heritage varieties
From hills of Reggio nell'Emilia, hand picked heritage grapes for a low yields per plant.
The maceration starts on the skins in steel tanks and then refined in oak and acacia barrels for 12 months. Native yeasts, no filtration, no chemicals from the filed to the cellar.The bottles produced in the 2019 are only 2500.
Organic and biodynamic method are follwed.
Best served at around 18°C.
Storage for long period in dark and cool place between 10-15°C.
Ageing potential for over 15 years.
Packaging: Bordolese with flat natural cork.

Deep ruby red, light body, dry with soft medium tannins. Nose of spiced fresh roses and geranium. Taste of fresh red currunts, gooseberries, fresh plum, sour cherry with oak spices as black pepper gloves and star anice. Complex and mineral, fresh and dry with a good balanced acidity.
Paring suggestions:
Roast meats and vegetables, pasta, pizza, aperitivo.
